Hi, I’m Brooks.

I founded Legal Ops AI Studio to help small in-house legal departments move from curiosity about AI to thoughtful, practical implementation.

My career has spanned several law firms and in-house roles with organizations including Gilead Sciences, Dexcom, and Human Interest. That experience has given me a firsthand understanding of how legal work moves through organizations—and the operational challenges legal teams face as they balance increasing demand, limited resources, evolving technology, and risk.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. My approach combines this legal foundation with practical experience in legal operations, technology, and process design.

The word “Studio” is intentional. I’ve always been drawn to design and once considered creating an interior design studio. Today, that perspective shapes how I approach legal transformation: understand how people use a system, design around their real needs, and ensure every element has a purpose.

Through Legal Ops AI Studio, I help legal teams identify the right AI opportunities, redesign high-impact workflows, and adopt new technology with the governance and human judgment legal work requires.
